Event Details

Beginning at 10 a.m., our first session highlighted the work and experience of our four guest speakers in their various areas of study and experience. Their informational presentations served to set the focus and tone for the day, providing essential background information on each topic area of child health and development, endocrine disruption, environmental economics, and environmental justice, followed by brief Q&A.

After a 30-minute break, Session Two began. Attendees were divided into the breakout groups they selected during registration for deeper conversations with their chosen guest speaker. Members of EHP's policy team co-lead these roundtable conversations to identify ideas and concerns.

After a 15-minute break, speakers and attendees reconvened for Session Three. This closing plenary panel, led by EHP Executive Director Alison Steele, served to recap and compare insights from the breakout discussions and addressed unanswered questions. Wrapping up the day with this final conversation, EHP aimed to define an effective approach for moving forward that weighed the competing needs of various stakeholders and considered the impacts of available courses of action.
